My love of sport, especially running guided me into a career of massage
therapy. An introduction to yoga has increased my awareness on how well
the body responds to deep static stretching when incorporated into
training. As a distance runner I’ve been able to integrate first-hand
knowledge of common tension sites into my treatment methods, for
sporting and everyday life stressors.
I am fully insured and hold membership of the Federation of Holistic
Therapists. I have diplomas in holistic massage, clinical sport and
remedial massage therapy. While studying I became more aware of how
beneficial massage is, not just to those participating in sport but for those
dealing with the stresses of everyday life. I want to help all types of clients
and increase the awareness of massage and its benefits. I have been
qualified for more than five years and have developed an extensive
knowledge and understanding of the human body that enables me to
treat clients with a variety of health needs.
If you feel you would be interested in having a treatment, I would very
much like to hear from you.
I look forward to working with you.

Sports massage is used to manage, manipulate and rehabilitate tissues of the body that include muscles, ligaments
and tendons. It is very similar to normal massage, although the pressures and techniques used are deeper and
specific to either a muscle, joint or limb. The therapist will often move the client changing their position or limb
position to help treat the area in question. The use of stretches can also be used during a treatment. The name
